After considering the available information, the Shed Committee has decided to re-open the Shed on Monday 22 June
We are using the time to bring the electrical test and tag schedule up to date and to prepare the shed for the new conditions. Those who have borrowed equipment/ tools during the shutdown please return them if you have not already done so.
To meet the relevant guidelines and recommendations, we have to make some changes to the way the Shed operates. We have not placed any limits on numbers attending, because the size of the workshop (and the 4m2 rule) allows for more people than normally attend.
We have developed some rules for us all to follow to stay Covid safe.
This is new ground for all of us, so bear with us as we see how much of this works, and whether we need to make changes as we get some experience of operating in a Covid world.
First, a reminder, Covid -19 presents a more serious risk to :
People aged 70 or over
People aged 65 years and over with chronic medical conditions
People with a compromised immune system
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples 50 years and older with one or more chronic medical conditions.
If you are feeling unwell, have a cough, or temperature, please do not come to the Shed.
